Trying to decide who to put in your fantasy football lineups? CPGM got your back.

Fantasy Football Start/Sit – Week 8

Start – Derek Carr vs Buccaneers

While everyone was drafting a quarterback early in their fantasy drafts and choosing Blake Bortles and Kirk Cousins in the mid rounds, CPGM Juice was drafting Derek Carr in all his leagues. Carr should cruise in this matchup against a Buccaneers defense who will have a hard time matching up with Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree. Carr hasn’t lit it up as of late but this week he should get back to a multi TD game with 300 yards passing.

Matthew Stafford vs Texans
Andy Dalton vs Redskins
Jameis Winston vs Raiders

Sit – Phillip Rivers vs Broncos

Phillip Rivers and the Chargers pulled a huge season saving upset two weeks ago on Thursday Night Football against the Denver Broncos. The Chargers offense started hot in the first quarter and struggled for the remainder of the game. I expect the Broncos defense to continue to shut down Rivers and the entire Chargers offense. Von Miller and company will be all over Rivers in a loud Mile High Stadium. I don’t see Rivers putting up numbers this week.

Running Backs

Start – Christine Michael vs Saints

Picking on the Saints defense is fun. So this weeks start is no other than Christine Michael who should have huge holes and a ton of carries. The Saints has the worst rushing defense in the league and Seattle will lean on the run in this contest. Russell Wilson has been battling injuries all season long and should have a easy time this week handing it off to Michael. Expect a couple of TDs and 100 yards for Michael in this prime matchup.

Gio Bernard vs Redskins
Jacquizz Rodgers vs Raiders
Spencer Ware vs Colts
Matt Forte vs Browns
Devontae Booker vs Chargers
Matt Asiata vs Bears

Sit – Jordan Howard vs Vikings

The success of Jordan Howard earlier in the season made us forget who John Fox has been in his coaching career. Fox never rides one back and loves his committees. Backup running back Kadeem Carey has eaten quite a bit into Howard’s workload and now original starter Jeremy Langford is back to muddy up the depth chart even more. Stay away from this backfield especially against a well rested stout Vikings defense.

Wide Receivers

Start – Will Fuller vs Lions

Yes I know Brock Osweiler is terrible but the Lions defense is just as bad and they will be without their best player in the secondary Darius Slay. If Osweiler can’t get it going in this one then the Texans brass should go into hiding. I expect Deandre Hopkins to finally be a factor and his counterpart Will Fuller to have a big game. Fuller has battled injuries and tough matchups the last couple of weeks and is now healthy with a sweet matchup this week. Fire up your Texans one more time even if you don’t believe in them anymore.

Doug Baldwin vs Saints
Michael Crabtree vs Buccaneers
Golden Tate vs Texans
John Brown vs Panthers
Ty Montgomery vs Falcons

Sit – Travis Benjamin vs Broncos

See Phillip Rivers above. The Broncos defense will be angry in this one playing against the Chargers who beat them 2 weeks ago.

Tight Ends

Start – Jimmy Graham vs Saints

REVENGE!!! Jimmy Graham comes back to New Orleans this week to put a hurting on his former team who will be no match for the big tight end. The Saints inexplicably traded Graham to the Seahawks because they felt he would of been too much money to resign last year but gave their new tight end Coby Fleener a whopping $36 million. The move didn’t make much sense to me but the Saints offense has never been the problem, it’s their defense. Even with a banged up Russell Wilson, the Hawks shouldn’t have any issues going up and down the field and best believe Graham will be a major contributor this week. Get him in your lineups because revenge is the sweetest joy.

Jack Doyle vs Chiefs
Kyle Rudolph vs Bears
Cameron Brate vs Raiders

Sit – Zach Miller vs Vikings

Who would of thought an injury to backup quarterback Brian Hoyer impacts the fantasy potential of the Bears weapons in a negative way. The Bears get their starter Jay Cutler back and Zach Miller’s production should decrease. Hoyer had a rapport with Miller in the intermediate passing game while Cutler has ignored all his receiver inside the numbers. This should continue this week as the Vikings defense up the middle will have no problems shutting down the Bears passing attack.

Defense to stream

New York Jets vs Browns

Lebron and the Cavs won a championship, The Indians are up in the World Series. I guess God only hates the Browns in Cleveland.
