Let’s get to it waiver wire style. Keep up to date on all fantasy news at couchpotatogm.com.

(Add recommendations will include players owned in less than 50% of leagues)

I can’t bring myself to recommend the likes of Alex Smith, Jay Cutler, Colin Kaepernick or Brock Osweiler anymore. If you do not have a quarterback to play this week, the best thing to do is draw names out of a hat. Nothing to see here, moving on.

Running Backs

Add – C.J. Prosise Seattle Seahawks

Ok here is a position that has some interesting names that can help your fantasy teams down the stretch run. The biggest name of the bunch is C.J. Prosise. With the release of Christine Michael, the Seahawks will be going to a 2-man backfield with Prosise and Thomas Rawls who is coming back from injury. Prosise in the last couple of weeks has flashed the talent that Pete Carroll and the Seahawks’ front office have been talking up since they drafted him in the third round of the 2016 draft. He dominated the workload last week against the Patriots playing 77% of the snaps, gaining 153 total yards and looking like the best player on the field. I know the arrival of Rawls might make some of you hesitate on adding Prosise but you have to look at what the Seahawks offense has become since losing Marshawn Lynch. The Seahawks with a healthy Russell Wilson will be passing the ball up and down the field, therefore they will more than likely have Prosise in the backfield due to his excellent receiving abilities out of the backfield. Prosise should be your number one waiver addition this week.

Other Players who deserve an Add
  • Rob Kelley Washington Redskins
  • James Starks Green Bay Packers
  • James White New England Patriots
  • Thomas Rawls Seattle Seahawks

Wide Receivers

Add –  Cameron Meredith Chicago Bears

A disappointment since Jay Cutler was inserted back into the starting lineup, Cameron Meredith gets one last chance to right the ship with the suspension of Alshon Jeffery. Even though Cutler sucks he has to throw the ball to somebody, right? Although it’s a gamble you have to take the chance on Meredith, who when playing with Brian Hoyer looked to be a talented player with some staying power. If you pass on Meredith, veteran Eddie Royal is next up on the depth chart but a sleeper pick up is Marquees Wilson who was activated off the PUP and has some rapport with Cutler in the past.

Other Players who deserve an Add
  • Michael Floyd Arizona Cardinals
  • J.J. Nelson Arizona Cardinals
  • Tyreek Hill Kansas City Chiefs
  • Eddie Royal Chicago Bears
  • Eli Rogers Pittsburgh Steelers
  • Marqise Lee Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Robert Woods Buffalo Bills

Tight Ends

Add – Will Tye New York Giants

Will Tye has been a non-factor in the Giants offense the entire season but over the last 2 games has seen 15 targets. He hasn’t capitalized much with his new found target share but he should be on the fantasy radar for prospective owners. The tight end position is almost as barren as the quarterback position in terms of available quality players under 50% ownership but there is some young talent out there if you have space on your roster.

Other Players who deserve an Add
  • Jack Doyle Indianapolis Colts
  • Hunter Henry San Diego Chargers
  • Austin Hooper Atlanta Falcons
