Quarterbacks

Another week with no viable quarterback additions under the 50% threshold. Ryan Tannehill has the best matchup against the 49ers. Maybe you can cross your fingers and hope for a Colin Kaepernick rushing touchdown. Or do you think Ryan Fitzpatrick can bring back some of his magic from 2015. I’ll pass on all of the above.

Running Backs

Add – Wendell Smallwood Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles committee of running backs is a little easier to decipher for fantasy owners with the injury to Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles hobbled. Versatile back Wendell Smallwood gets his crack at 15+ touches this week and should be a strong RB2 candidate against a Packers defense that is trying to hold on by a thread. Look for the Eagles to do their customary ball control offense and keep Aaron Rodgers off the field. Smallwood should have a nice game as the lead back for the Eagles this week.

Other Players who deserve an Add

Chris Ivory Jacksonville
Mike Gillislee Buffalo Bills
Derrick Henry Tennessee Titans
Kenneth Dixon Baltimore Ravens

Wide Receivers

Add – Tyler Boyd Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals got back their starting tight end Tyler Eifert a couple of weeks ago and now lose A.J. Green and Gio Bernard to injury in Week 11. Andy Dalton has had a tumultuous season this year after losing Marvin Jones and Mohammed Sanu in the offseason and now is currently working with Brandon LaFell as his number one receiver. We all know who LaFell is at this point and need to target the rookie Tyler Boyd on waivers. Boyd is a talented strong hands receiver who can make contested catches and should lead the Bengals’ wide outs in targets until Green gets back. Last week Green went down on the second play of the game and Boyd received 8 targets for 84 yards and a touchdown. With a full week of practice ahead, look for Boyd to be the go too guy after Eifert in the Bengals’ passing game.

Other Players who deserve an Add

Brandon LaFell Cincinnati Bengals
Sammy Watkins Buffalo Bills
Tyreek Hill Kansas City Chiefs
Tyler Lockett Seattle Seahawks
Pierre Garçon Washington Redskins
Marqise Lee Jacksonville Jaguars
Tajae Sharpe Tennessee Titans

Tight Ends

Add – Jared Cook Green Bay Packers

Ok it took 11 weeks but Packers’ tight end Jared Cook finally flashed the talent many fantasy enthusiasts were loving at the start of the season. I didn’t trust him because of his history of inconsistencies but now is a good time to roster Cook who can produce TE 1 numbers down the stretch. Aaron Rodgers targeted Cook 11 times last week and the athletic tight end gained 105 yards and a touchdown. The Packers offense who could use a boost should look his way much more in the coming weeks. Grab Cook if you need an improvement at the TE position.

Hunter Henry San Diego Chargers
Austin Hooper Atlanta Falcons
