AFC East Update
Not again Cleveland!?! Another athlete spurns a Cleveland team to sign with a Miami team. Not quite as big a deal as the last guy to do so but tight end Jordan Cameron signs with the Dolphins hours after reports circulated that he had re-signed with the Cleveland Browns. Cameron, when healthy can be an elite tight end in this league but “when healthy” are the key words in that statement as he hasn’t been able to consistently stay on the field throughout his career. He arrives in Miami as a huge injury risk as his last three seasons have been marred with concussions. Interestingly enough, the Dolphins still have the transition tag on fellow tight end Charles Clay, who is free to negotiate with other teams. Reports out of Miami indicate that the Dolphins are working with Clay on an extension so it looks like the Fins plan to keep both players.
