Navorro Bowman done for year

Navorro Bowman done for year
CPGM Front Office

A CPGM favorite, Navorro Bowman suffered a torn Achilles tendon (non-contact) during the Week 4 contest against the Dallas Cowboys which will end his 2016 season. Bowman, an elite run defender is the lynchpin to the 49ers defense and will be sorely missed. The impact was felt immediately. In fact, Ezekiel Elliot’s first 10 carries netted 46 yards; following Bowman’s departure to injury Elliott rushed 13 times for 92 yards and a TD (23/138/1).  First round selection, DeForest Buckner also suffered an injury and may not play on Thursday night against an Arizona Cardinals team with significant injuries of their own (Carson Plamer; Chris Johnson). The Niners have the 32nd ranked run defense in the NFL and face David Johnson on a short week Thursday night. DFS Alert!
