Fantasy Football Start/Sit Week 15
Quarterbacks
Start – Cam Newton vs Packers
Cam Newton will have one of his best games this season, Sunday. The Packers couldn’t stop a runny nose if they were standing in a pharmacy with the prescription for said aliment. Especially screens, draws and getting to the QB consistently. Expect Newton to get Christian McCaffrey involved early and often. Additionally, the Panthers have allowed Newton to be Newton. Affording him the option to run when he sees fit and call run/pass option plays that stress the defense. Aaron Rodgers has returned and in my opinion this will only add to the fire that is the Panthers playoff push and division title aspirations.
Start
- Case Keenum vs Bengals
- Matt Ryan vs Buccaneers
- Dak Prescott vs Raiders
Sit – Andy Dalton vs Vikings
Running Backs

Start – Jordan Howard vs Loins
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. The Bears can do one thing and one thing well and that is run the damn ball. Mitchell Trubisky is still in the learning stages at the moment and the Bears WR core isn’t putting any fear into the opposing teams’ secondary. 3 of the 4 Bears TD’s last week against the Bengals came on the ground, 2 by Howard. Howard also crossed over the 1000 yard barrier once again in just his 2nd season as a pro. The Lions have given up the 6th most rushing yards thus far this season (bending and trying not to break defense) and combine that with the simple fact that the Bears know their limitations and still do what they do in the run game. I see some fireworks from Howard and Tarik Cohen Saturday!!!
Start
- Alvin Kamara vs Jets
- Jonathan Stewart vs Packers
- Jerick McKinnon vs Bengals
Sit – Isaiah Crowell vs Ravens
Wide Receivers
Start – Mohamed Sanu vs Buccaneers
The Buccaneers are the 2nd worst pass defense in the league having given up 3589 passing yards, just 11 shy of the Colts. This is really an easy decision as Sanu historically has been a thorn in the side of the Bucs. A few weeks ago the Bucs chose not to cover Julio Jones, who went off for over 250 yards. Sanu had himself a perfect passer rating throwing a TD to Julio and catching 8 balls for 64 yards. I have to think Julio won’t go for 250 again, so who will those yards and targets go to? My money is on Sanu.
Start
- Adam Thielen vs Bengals
- Dez Bryant vs Raiders
- Sammy Watkins vs Seahawks
Sit – Tyreek Hill vs Chargers (if you have alternatives)
Tight Ends
Start – Jesse James vs Patriots
Last week against the Ravens, James was targeted 12 times and caught 10 of those bad boys for 97 yards. No he didn’t get in the end zone; but his load should remain heavy with no Vance McDonald to snipe production due to injury. For whatever reason Todd Haley has reverted to being pass happy rather than run it through that guy wearing #26! The Ravens rank 20th vs the TE this season and this week’s opponent the New England Patriots haven’t fared much better defending the position as they are currently ranked 19th in the league.
- Hunter Henry vs Chiefs
- Ricky Seals-Jones vs Redskins
Sit – Tyler Kroft vs Vikings
Defense to stream
San Francisco 49ers vs Titans
The 49ers defense have been much improved as of late due to the exceptional play of rookie linebacker Reuben Foster. The 49ers rank 4th in the league in yards allowed per game in the last four contests. A perfect opportunity arises to stream their defense against a Titans offense that has been playing flat. Marcus Mariota and the Titans offensive line have struggled which will allow the Niners to control the line of scrimmage.
