AFC North Update
It certainly is the age of the receiver. A.J. Green is the latest in a long line of elite receivers to receive either a new contract or contract extension in the 2015 calendar year. Ian Rapoport reports that the extension is worth $60 million tacked on to his current salary for 2015. Effectively the deal is for five years and just over $70 million dollars. It was a trying 2014 season as Green missed three games and parts of several others with a lingering toe injury but he still managed to post a 69/1,041/6 line despite consistently drawing double coverage and routine miscommunication between he and quarterback Andy Dalton.
