NFC South Update
The punishment for the Atlanta Falcons has finally been announced for pumping artificial crowd noise through speakers in the Georgia Dome for the last two seasons. The Falcons will forfeit their 2016 5th round draft pick and pay a $350,000 fine. Owner Arthur Blank who jumped out in front of the issue by admitting to the Falcons’ wrongdoing last month and may have ultimately reduced the team’s punishment. The Falcons who have been one of the best home teams in the Matt Ryan era have fallen off abruptly over the last two seasons with a 6-9 home record.
