NFC North Update
The Minnesota Vikings have signed place kicker Blair Walsh to a 4-year $13 million deal. The deal contains $5.25 million in guarantees as the Vikings lock up one of the league’s better, young kickers. In 2012, Walsh made the Pro Bowl and was named to the AP All-Pro team. He also carries a career 84.47 field goal percentage which ranks 10th among active career field goal % leaders. It’s a fairly safe assumption that Walsh will see an increase in scoring opportunities considering the return of Adrian Peterson and an improving offense in Minnesota.
