The Miami Dolphins have agreed to a deal trading receiver Mike Wallace and a 2015 7th round pick to the Minnesota Vikings for a 2015 5th round pick. Speculation regarding the trade or release of Wallace had been brewing for weeks and the Dolphins trade Wallace before he was due a $3 million bonus this weekend while being scheduled to make $9.9 million in 2015. The Dolphins acquired WR Kenny Stills from the Saints earlier today and moved Wallace who clashed with coaches often. Furthermore, Wallace never seemed to be on the same page or develop timing with quarterback Ryan Tannenhill. The Minnesota Vikings, meanwhile, surround QB Teddy Bridgewater with a legitimate deep threat in Norv Turner’s offense to go along with Charles Johnson who emerged last season. Bridgewater flourished late in the season and looks poised to take another step with a better receiving corps at his disposal.
