Fantasy Football Start/Sit Week 12
Start – Matt Ryan vs Buccaneers
The numbers don’t tell the whole story for Matt Ryan this season but he has been one of the better graded quarterbacks in 2017. Untimely drops and turnovers derailed his fantasy production earlier this season but right now Ryan is hitting his stride. Even though Ryan has had only two 300 yard games all season long, he is due for one this week against a Buccaneers defense that will be outmatched. The Buccaneers rank 27th in fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks, 31st in total passing yards allowed and 3oth in sacks. So you are telling me the Bucs wont be able to get to Ryan and they can’t cover downfield…sign me up for a 300 yard 3 touchdown performance.
Sit – Josh McCown vs Panthers
Start – Duke Johnson vs Bengals
The Browns run game coordinator Kirby Wilson said the team wants to keep Duke Johnson on the field as much as possible. That’s all I need to insert him in all my lineups this Sunday. Johnson has displayed his talent in spurts this season and has been the Browns best offensive player by a wide margin. Last week Johnson had his highest snap rate playing almost 60% of the downs against the Lions and it will be a welcomed sight to see him in the game for the majority of snaps this week against the Bengals. More carries will just lead to more big plays for Johnson but he is also a safe play with the amount of receptions he gets each game. In PPR leagues Johnson has the ability to be a RB2 this week with the potential of reaching RB1 status if he sees the field at a 70% snap rate.
- Alvin Kamara vs Rams
- Tevin Coleman vs Buccaneers
- Kareem Hunt vs Bills
- Dion Lewis vs Dolphins
- Lamar Miller vs Ravens
Sit – Joe Mixon vs Browns
Start – Martavis Bryant vs Packers
Here it is…The Martavis Bryant break out game we’ve been all waiting for. Rookie receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster has Wally Pipped Bryant for his starting position and it has been a season to forget for Bryant owners. Good news comes this Sunday as you can safely play him against a porous Packers secondary as Smith-Schuster will be inactive. The Steelers and Ben Roethlisberger haven’t quite gotten their deep passing game going this season but come Sunday Night under the bright lights there will be a couple shots downfield for Bryant to take advantage of.
- Brandin Cooks vs Dolphins
- Alshon Jeffery vs Bears
- T.Y. Hilton vs Titans
- Doug Baldwin vs 49ers
- Corey Davis vs Colts
- Jeremy Maclin vs Texans
Sit – Amari Cooper vs Broncos
Start – Jack Doyle vs Titans
Last time Jack Doyle faced the Titans, he went for 50 yards and a touchdown in Week 6. Doyle has been a consistent check down option for Jacoby Brissett all season and it will be more of that come Sunday. The Titans pass defense has been atrocious given up the 4th most passing touchdowns. Expect for Doyle to get in the end zone with at least 5 catches.
Sit – Coby Fleener vs Rams
Defense to stream
Cincinnati Bengals vs Browns
Picking on the Browns is always a good bet. I like some individual Browns’ players this week (Duke Johnson & Corey Coleman) but with quarterback DeShone Kizer under center there will be a couple of turnovers with the chance for the Bengals to go 6.
