Fantasy Football Waiver Wire (Add/Drop) – Week 13
Quarterbacks
Add – Case Keenum Minnesota Vikings
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Case Keenum has the Vikings on a 7-game winning streak and remains the starting quarterback over Teddy Bridgewater. Head Coach Mike Zimmer will not commit to Keenum long term but if he keeps playing lights out then the Vikings will have no other choice than to ride Keenum all the way to the playoffs. Fantasy owners continue to be weary of Keenum as he is still under 50% ownership; however for the owners who continue to play him, they’re reaping the benefits each week. Last week Keenum totaled 3 touchdowns while throwing for 282 yards. If you have better options to start at the quarterback position you should still add Keenum as an insurance policy.
Other Players who deserve an Add
- Jimmy Garoppolo San Franciso 49ers
- Josh McCown New York Jets
- Brett Hundley Green Bay Packers
Drop – Marcus Mariota Tennessee Titans
Running Backs
Add – Austin Ekeler Los Angeles Chargers
It’s that time of the season where you add the best handcuff running back that will have tremendous value if the starter gets injured. Austin Ekeler has good value right now with Melvin Gordon in the lineup, but if Gordon was to ever get injured then Ekeler shoots up to a potential RB1. The undrafted rookie has made quite a name for himself thus far as a change of pace to Gordon and will continue to be a factor in the Chargers backfield. Get ahead of the curve and grab Ekeler this week.
Other Players who deserve an Add
- Rod Smith Dallas Cowboys
- Devontae Booker Denver Broncos
- Corey Clement Philadelphia Eagles
- Jonathan Stewart Carolina Panthers
- Mike Davis Seattle Seahawks
Drop – Damien Williams Miami Dolphins
Wide Receivers
Add – Corey Coleman Cleveland Browns
The 100 yard 2 touchdown performance from Corey Coleman is coming soon. The Browns will continue to play from behind which will give Coleman a good deal of opportunities to make big plays in the passing game. In the last two weeks since coming back from injury, Coleman has received 19 targets and is the clear cut number 1 receiver for the Browns. I know many of you are anticipating the return of Josh Gordon but Coleman is the guy that you want on your fantasy teams.
Other Players who deserve an Add
- Josh Doctson Washington Redskins
- Dede Westbrook Jacksonville Jaguars
- Marquise Goodwin San Franciso 49ers
- Zay Jones Buffalo Bills
- Dontrelle Inman Chicago Bears
Drop – Kelvin Benjamin Buffalo Bills
Tight Ends
Add – Ricky Seals-Jones Arizona Cardinals
Ricky Seals-Jones who? Many of you probably didn’t know this guy existed until 2 weeks ago much less what team he played for. The Cardinals backup tight end came out of nowhere in Week 11 catching 3 passes for 54 yards and 2 touchdowns and followed it up with a 4 catch 72 yard 1 touchdown performance last week. I remember watching his college tape leading up to the draft and admiring his skill-set and polish as a big slot receiver at the next level. I had no idea he would transition to a tight end and be a fantasy relevant player in year 1. With the position predictably down, it is a good time to add Seals-Jones and hope he can continue his success with Blaine Gabbert.
Other Players who deserve an Add
- Tyler Kroft Cincinnati Bengals
- Eric Ebron Detroit Lions
- Charles Clay Buffalo Bills
Drop – Coby Fleener New Orleans Saints
