Jacksonville Jaguars
Number 3 overall pick Dante Fowler Jr. tore his left ACL in the Jaguars’ first day of rookie training camp and is now out for the season. Ouch!!! Bad news for the Jaguars to lose their number one overall pick, Fowler was going to play a crucial role this upcoming season as the Jags “Leo” pass rusher. Rated by many as the best edge rusher in the NFL draft Fowler will now sit out his rookie season but is fully expected to be back healthy for training camp in 2016. Fowler’s injury comes before he signed his rookie contract but he is still expected to get a fully guaranteed contract based on the injury protection waiver all unsigned draft picks sign before participating in training camp.
