Jeremy Maclin has signed a five-year $55 million deal with $22.5 million guaranteed to join the Kansas City Chiefs. Maclin leaves the Philadelphia Eagles and reunites with former head coach Andy Reid. The former Missouri Tiger is a huge upgrade to a team which had no receiving TDs from their receiving core in 2014. Although Maclin gets the deal he was looking for he may not be able to replicate last season’s 85 catches 1318 yards and 10 TDs with Mr. Check-down Alex Smith at the helm. All-in-all great signing for the Chiefs to add a play-maker on the outside to go along with Jamaal Charles in the backfield. Next order of business is to put an offensive line together.
