Having suffered a partially torn labrum Eric Decker who has become one of the premiere red zone targets in the NFL and as steady a WR2/3 in fantasy circles as there is may be lost for the year. Still a lot of question marks regarding how long Decker will be out and according to head coach Todd Bowles he isn’t sure whether or not his injury is of the season-ending variety. The “Fantasy Fallout” is significant. Quincy Enunwa will be tapped to assume a larger role in the Jets offense and Brandon Marshall while expected to receive additional targets will face more double coverage. Ryan Fitzpatrick is coming off a 6 INT performance and has been known to press even with his full complement of weapons so temper expectations particularly in Week 4 considering that the Jets have a matchup with the Seattle Seahawks. The Jets don’t currently have much else in the form of receiving threats other than Matt Forte who stands to see more red zone carries and targets in Decker’s absence. Bilal Powell is also an accomplished receiver out of the backfield and may usurp some of the targets Decker typically gets in the coming weeks.
