Raiders snag Crabtree

AFC West Update

The Oakland Raiders have agreed to a deal with ex-49er Michael Crabtree, terms of the deal is for 1 year $3 million contract with another $2 million available through incentives. Crabtree will receive $400,000 bonus if he posts 70 catches or 900 yards, $1.4 million if he clears 100 catches or 1400 yards, with a $400,000 pro bowl bonus. Crabtree hasn’t been the same player since rupturing his achilles in 2013 hitting rock bottom last season playing only 68% of snaps while dropping 10 of his 78 catchable passes, fourth worst in the league. The The Raiders had tons of money to burn entering free agency but missed out on big-ticket WRs Randall Cobb and Jeremy Maclin. Crabtree will be part of a rotation with James Jones, Rod Streater, Andre Holmes with the Raiders potentially adding a receiver in the upcoming draft.
