NFC West Update
The Rams’ formidable down four just got better by adding Nick Fairley to their rotation. The former Lion has signed with the St. Louis Rams on a one-year incentive laden deal. Fairley has flashed potential but has battled inconsistency and his weight which has led to an injury plagued career thus far. He reportedly weighs 280 lbs. right now which demonstrates a commitment to his conditioning and health. His playing weight will be closer 290 lbs. but considering that he was playing at a weight well over 300 lbs. he should be able to recapture and maintain the explosiveness and quickness off the ball which led to him being selected in the first round of the 2011 draft.
