Steelers CB Ike Taylor retires

AFC North Update

Lifetime Steeler cornerback Ike Taylor has announced his retirement. Taylor spent his entire 12-year-career with the Steelers and was a mainstay in the secondary helping the Steelers win two Super Bowls. The last couple of seasons were rough for Taylor as his age and lack of speed caught up with him often times scorched by the opposing team’s #1 receiver. Going on 35, and unable to drum up any interest in free agency, Taylor realized it was time to hang it up. The Steelers have many holes in an already depleted secondary and will need to address this situation immediately.
