Thursday Night Trail Mix – Week 3

Thursday Night Trail Mix week 3

Los Angeles Rams (-3) at San Francisco 49ers

 Thursday, Sept 21st 8:20 PM Levi’s Stadium

I am truly intrigued by the LA Rams with the young lad that is Sean McVay and all the toys that are on this team. It’s beyond frustrating to have one of the better and talented defenses in the league draft a QB with your first pick and not surround him with what he needs to succeed and on top of that have lackluster coaching to boot for that young and inexperienced QB. The Rams look to be heading in the right direction despite the loss last week.  Kyle Shanahan is one of if not the best offensive minds in the league and I can’t debate that. Just look what Matt Ryan and the Falcons did last year to defenses like the Seattle Seahawks. I even thought for just a second that Brian Hoyer could do some damage and be a better player than most. Then the game against the Panthers started… and I was reminded of who Hoyer is. Then it got worst the following week with him throwing for under a 100 yds. I believe Carlos Hyde will have a big night but the Rams win as they are the more talented with Goff having a bounce back game throwing to Sammy Watkins and Cooper Kupp.

DFS “Punt Play”

TE Gerald Everett – “Highly productive when the ball is coming his way 4 rec. for 134 yds”

  • QB – Jared Goff – “Cooper Kupp isn’t his only WR, that lost last week will have taught him this”
  • RB – Carlos Hyde – “If Hyde can run for 120 on the Seahawks the Rams should be no problem”
  • WR – Sammy Watkins – “I believe this is his break-out game”
  • TE – Tyler Higbee – “He is the Rams #1 TE, for now”
  • K – Greg Zuerlein  – “He’s good”
  • DST  – Los Angeles Rams – “Aaron Donald”

Temple Owls at South Florida Bulls (-19.5)

Thursday at 7:30PM,  Raymond James Stadium Tampa, Florida

Prospect to watch –  #9 QB Quinton Flowers – “Heisman hopeful”
