Thursday Night Trail Mix Week 4
Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers (-6.5)
Thursday, Sept 28st 8:20 PM Lambeau Stadium
This one seems fairly straight forward to me. Assuming the Packers don’t commit multiple turnovers they should win at home against their divisional opponent the Chicago Bears. Ideally, Chicago is able to stay ahead of the chains by running Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen but I suspect Aaron Rodgers will be simply too much and knock the wind out of “Da Bears” wings after their overtime victory against Pittsburgh. Both teams played overtime football in Week 3 and it’s a short week. Gotta take the better quarterback and the gaping disparity between the two.
DFS “Punt Play”
RB Tarik Cohen – “Can score from anywhere on the field; going to get the passing down work in a game the Bears are expected to trail in”
Start
- QB – Aaron Rodgers– “He’s too good”
- RB – Jordan Howard – “Gonna get all the work he can handle”
- WR – Jordy Nelson – “Rodgers’ favorite target in the Redzone”
- TE – Zach Miller – “I don’t trust Bambi of the opposition”
- K – Mason Crosby – “Might just be point after attempts”
- DST – Green Bay Packers – “Mike Glennon isn’t scaring anyone, including the Packers secondary”
Texas Longhorns (-5.5) at Iowa State Cyclones
Thursday at 8:00 PM, Jack Trice Stadium Ames, Iowa
Prospect to watch – #46 OLB Malik Jefferson – “Currently a Day 2 Draft Prospect but a strong 2017 campaign could lead to Jefferson hearing his name called on Day 1.”
